very very upset with myself but I don’t know what else to do!

Very, very frustrated right now (and annoyed and any other pissed off word you can find)!!!!! I know this is a slow process. I know that this takes a lot for a person to completely change their lives, i’m not stupid. I’ve been doing this for over two weeks and I started off at 172. Okay, I don’t expect to lose like the people on the biggest losers but this is week two and I got on the scale and it said 171!!!!! WTF i’ve been working my ass off, parking my car farther away so I get more walking, eating right, and even when I do ‘over eat’ it is with good foods but I stay within 1500 calories. My work outs burn over 800. I don’t know what to freakin’ do!?!?!

In two weeks I gave myself a realistic goal of being 170 (or at least 169.9 or something) but no! I understand that if you eat salt you’ll hold water and all that but I make sure to take a water pill when I know the foods are a little salty. I didn’t build muscle so I don’t know what the hell. I’m going to continue with my lifestyle but i’m just really upset!

I drink plenty of water (i’m peeing every five minutes for god sakes) I work out, I sweat, I get my heart rate up. What else is there for me to do! Before I would just throw my hands up in the air but don’t worry about that I just need to figure something else out. I guess i’m just going to have to workout more? The only medical problem I have is asthma and I don’t see how that is affecting my weight because I got that under control

::tear:: someone give me a hug lmao

I spot one problem, you burn 800 calories yet only eat 1500 calories, you calorie deficit/intake is about 700 calories. Therefore you need to eat just a bit more then 1500 calories to, more like 1800 calories to lose weight. Well, this could be one of the reasons - which a lot of people make. They work out hard but don’t eat enough.

This is the very reason why when I do 2 or 3 hours at a time like kickboxing and step and weights I eat for the day 3000 calories.

If you are not doing it already, I suggest you log your food - every morsel that you eat for the next two weeks, also log your exercise.

You will see a pattern and figure out why you are not losing weight.

And if you are not doing so, check out your sodium intake per day. You would be amaze how tracking your sodium level, taking in less then 2500mg will help you lose weight.

    Just some suggestions.

If you are not doing so, I suggest adding resistance training/weights to your routine to gain muscle and tone up. You may actually see a gain after a few weeks but muscle makes you look leaner.

    Good luck.

((((hugsss))) I really like khmer’s advice. I eat around 1200-1400 calories a day if I am not working out that day, and if I am going to work out, I make sure to add on about 400 calories because I love burning 800. I had a good success with that this past week.

Don’t get discouraged! Keep going! Sometimes our bodies hit a slow point. Maybe next week weigh-in you will see an awesome number!!

(((HUG))) I don’t know why you’re not loosing, but you will hun!! Just stick to it and stay positive!! I agree with keeping a food journal…it’s really helped me!!!

(((hugs))) Just keep on it… I won’t repeat pp, but that is great advice! I can see in my own weight how sodium affects my weight. I can fluctuate 2 pounds or so from one day to the next, if I haven’t been careful. Hang in there. :)

Okay, I already put this in once but it ate it, so I’m going to try again and hope it doesn’t end up on here twice (if it does, sorry sweetie).

I know it sounds weird to eat more to lose weight, but when you restrict your calories and exercise a lot you can put yourself into a calorie deficit. This freaks your body out and it goes into “starvation mode” and hold onto every pound. I would definitely take Nancy’s advice (she is one smart cookie). So, you have to make sure you are getting enough calories in order for your body’s metabolism to work like it should. Hey, just think, you just got a great gift! The universe is telling you to EAT MORE!!! YIPPEE!! Regarding your last blog, I did not get a chance to read it until today and I have responded to your email. Remember, stress also definitely affects weight loss. Try to find some happy time. HUGS, HUGS, HUGS TO YOU!!!

Don’t give up. Try to eat more frequent and smaller meals. I am doing that and also taking a dietary supplement called metarevive that is boosting my metabolism. I wish you the best.
